| [#3] 化震扳 Sanrubber for vibration damping Buy a piece of SANRUBBER from Hings Group. See the link below. You can browse to search for exact location of their shops. There are a few at Reclamation Street between Mongkok & Yaumatei and one at Thompson Road, Wanchai, next to Wanchai MTR. The product on the right-most side of picture is Sanrubber. http://www.hingsgroup.com/productMCat.aspx?p1=1&p2=&p3=&p=8 Sanrubber is 9mm thick, 455mm x 910mm. Price was $300 a few years ago. It is for use under the wooden floor of dancing schools/halls to damp vibration & sound transmission. Several friends have tried it under cdp and found big improvement. Just use cutter to trim to size of cdp base [or a little larger] & place it on top of hifi rack. Use a steel ruler if available. Don’t cut on top of wooden floor! Also, you have to place on top of the Sanrubber a pc of black granite slab 黑麻石 minimum 20mm thick, in size same as the cut Sanrubber. This is available from "Marble/building material" shops at Portland Street, MK or in Wanchai. You can place the cdp on the granite slab with different spikes & discs or without. Just try which way you find the sound to your taste. I am using the same under my cdp, along with TAOC 46 PIN spikes & discs. I can knock under the rack when playing cd & it is not affected by any vibration. Granite slab = 花岗岩板, also called麻石. Black color has the highest density & least vibration.
