| [#21] 請教大廈供水問題 If suction tank is fitted, it cannot provide sufficient head for the pumps' NPSH, hence cavitation. Even worse. Direct feed and booster pump is more simple. The tank is in fact WSD service reservoir with residual pressure of say 2 bar. Only guarantee on fresh water but not salt water. | [#23] 請教大廈供水問題 I worked on HV pumpsets of 2.5MW (not kW) and up to 11 kV. Such voltage can ignite a person. Fortunately, I am still alive. The building pumpset is smaller than village supply pumphouse, say 11kW, 380V. Besides 1 bar=10m water. If you want to have static head of 2 bar. You have to build a tank of 20m high.
