| [#26] 英文請教 #22 自幼用英國字典,從來未買過Merriam Webster.最左一本係45年前$5買的二手Advanced Learner dictionary,陪我走過幾十年.其餘係阿仔中學買及其他人送. Unfound 在美國係好common 講法？我真係唔識啦.樓主想同其他人溝通,一個字如果其他人有混淆甚至唔識的就用其他字好D.不過如果知道對方完全明白用字意思就冇問題. 如果我收到樓主話有份文件“Unfound" 就真係唔知佢暫時未揾到.  |

| [#36] 英文請教 常見嘅謬誤以為只係寫句英文句子，但句子作用唔單係句子，而係令收到句子嘅人完全明白箇中意思，所謂 communication （傳意學），就係 盡量防止發出方，A 與B 收受方，雙方唔會產生誤解，所以鼓勵少用英文嘅 passive voice, 例如 xxx has been xxxx, 不幸地巧多腥港人喜歡呢味^_^ |
