| [#1] Holocaust Memorial Day 27th January King Charles III will visit the largest former Nazi concentration camp to mark Holocaust Memorial Day. That's a day which happens on 27 January every year and sees people from all over the world remember the millions of Jewish people, and people from other backgrounds, who were killed by the Nazis during World War Two. The King will travel to Poland to visit Auschwitz-Birkenau, which was liberated - or freed - 80 years ago in 1945. He will become the first British Head of State to visit the site. |
