[#143] Leica Club it is difficult to find the b&w film nowadays. i love to develope the b&w film by myself as i did that when i was in the secondary school. sadly, i do not have the space for the "dark room" and may not be able to stand the smell of the films development liquid. Dear Davwong, You may just developed your own film and scan the neg to your computer for printing, the smell will not be too punching in a small developing tank. By the way you can approach "Photo Scientific Appliances" at Stanley Street. The shop have nearly the whole range of 'Ilford' B&W materials in stock. Yes I'm an EMT user.

[#144] Leica Club emtcart, thanks for your info. on photo scientific appliances. i do think i love to scan the films as that can not retain the texture of what the film should have. what model of emt you are playing?

[#145] Leica Club Davwong, the film that can not retain the texture of what the film should have mainly depand on the scanner that are using, you may use the Nikon Super Coolscan 5000 that is recommended by the Leica Fan Club, the scanner is only around $6,000 which may be cheaper than your low grade HiFi cable. I use EMT 950 and X15VDH.

[#149] Leica Club Passing by... To me, the best R model is R7 and R6.2 depending on needs. R8 and R9 are way too big and only good for flash photography.

[#150] Leica Club Dear all, Thank for the good advise, actuall I enjoy all Leica's Model after I started my Leica Journey in 1973 with my Leica CL, that is a lovely small camera, later on I enjoy nearly all the models that developed. I mentioned R9 and MP because I can just spare my time at the end of this month to enjoy them after have them for nearly two years. So let everyone of us have enough time to think before pressing the shutter button and enjoy these real good cameras. Thank.

[#154] Leica Club Hi Shadow-green, I borrowed the picture from Ken Rockwell.com, he is an expert in Leica and many other cameras. You can google and read a lot about his view about M9 being the best digital camera in the world. I have a few lenses, 21mm F2.8, 35mm F2.0, 50mm 1.0, 50mm 2.8 and a Tri-Elmar..., hoping to get a 75mm and 90mm Macro. How about you, what lenses do you use? Is yours M8 or M8.2?

[#158] Leica Club M9 will be much better due to bigger sensor size. More importantly, the perspective will finally be correct. Yet, why should M be digital is another story. (Being digital of coz has one key benefit - focus not right can shoot again right away as many lens are almost impossible to focus.) A friend of mine has it. I dare not ask to try or see. The price is ridiculous in any standard. Afraid I may want one....

[#160] Leica Club Btw, I don't know why no one mention one key lens when talking about M - 50/2.8 collapsible. This is the lens I regret not getting when still available....
