| [#16] Carpenters - cd Patrick WONG Hing, I have not listened to the Limited Edition. But for the recent release, SHM series and of course the SACD is the best sound carpenter Cd available. SACD is mastered by Richard Carpenter and it contains more detail than other local versions. Good value for money. cwks |

| [#17] Carpenters - cd Hello cwks, Thank you for your message. SHM or SACD can be a better format for audio and I think generally they sound good. However, it does not guarantee that SHM or SACD ‘of course’ sounds better than ordinary CD as sound quality itself is affected by some other factors as well. Unless we perform a sound comparison between them, we cannot tell which version sounds better. I hope I can have a chance to compare them in the future. |
