Lately he's more into opera, and from the way he frightened Master Yu of Excel I think he should be called 大聲: or 爆鵬:. You can see how he stripped the diaphragm of the ESL63. I wonder whether he strips his girlfriends with that kind of violence, in which case he calls himself the infamous 肥強 is not unreasonable, may be 暴力強. In any case, the name 肥強 on its own, already carries quite a lot of his qualities. |

As true fans of British audio, we have to be equally hypocritical as the Brits in order to fully understand and appreciate their culture. Perhaps that would enable us to exploit the ESL further, such as why the ESL is and look like a true dipole speaker, but purposely damped at the back to save its arse. |

| [#2381] Feikeung Folks, There's a long story behind the nomenclature: I owned a medium-size business which had been extremely profitable for over a decade. I was making $$$ hand over fist and the only thing that worried me was not to be taxed by Revenue Canada left, right, and center. Towards the mid 90s, however, drastic changes took place in the computer industry. First tier players started slashing prices, leaving no room for 2nd and 3rd players, which were pseudo name brands. Being a medium sized business with a big payroll (37 honkies to feed), I was hit particularly hard and depleted all my accumulated earnings in a few years. In late 1995, I called it quits and packed it in. The notion of having to look for employment had not occurred to me for the longest time and I was at a loss. I left Eastern Canada and headed for Vancouver, where I picked up a copy of The Apple Daily that somebody from Hong Kong left behind. In the entertainment section there were two daily articles which garnered a lot of interested, hence widest readership. One was by Fat Lung (Boot Lan Street) and the other by Gut Jing Feung. Being a forty-year old, I was told that I was already an old fart as far as the computer industry was concerned and did not stand in chance. The idea of freelancing and writing scummy articles for the Chinese press suddenly looked appealing, since I had lived a decadent lifestyle for a number of years and had frequented more places of ill repute than those old farts who were writing for Apple Daily and who had nothing better to do than scratching their itchy balls thru the openings of their boxer-type underwear when their ideas ran out. My first name was Keung and I was kind of fat. I starting calling myself Feikeung and was poised to give those guys a run for the money since their ideas had exhausted long time ago……………. |

| [#2382] Feikeung Keep it up feikeung. My experience is not much happier than yours. At one time I had over 3000 people working for me and to be fair, mine was not a name unknown in the engineering profession, both locally and internationally. Now I'm running a mini size business, struggling for the smallest order in a niche market. But I'm equally happy indulging in music as before and honestly my chicken priced ESL might actually sound better than my previous close to million setup. |
