| [#2924] ESL63 Dear all, About the description of distortion, It sounded like a small amount of current is leaking from some panel, but not necessarily a real leaking problem. I'd heard good bass and treble from the ESL63 but just the distortion annoying me and preventing me playing louder sound. |

| [#2926] ESL63 Dennis' observation is quite correct. 1. yes, only one penal arcd on big drum beating and that is the faulty original penal I did not changed. All the other penals have no arcing problem. 2. The distortion when arc was casued by the sudden drawn down of voltage by the arcing of faulty penal. 3. The "沙沙" noise was also caused by the sudden drawn of voltage caused by the arc. In a few hours from now, the faulty original treble penal will be replaced with Allen's restored penal. and we should have a clearer picture of what happen. Regds Patrick |

| [#2927] ESL63 The arcing has drawn all the current. ------------------------------- I agree with CP. The distortion Dennis was mentioning only happened on arcing of the faulty penal and it only last a couple seconds. I played the big drum CD again and noted that arc was always on the same spot where a small hole was there. |
