| [#3747] 6C33 After changing all the tubes in the GM20, it seems to have come back to live, certainly not as slow as previous. It does seem to be slightly clearer than the Modena. The dialogues in this Magic Flute are so real that the sound took me to immolate to the workshop with the 6C33s burning.  |

| [#3749] 6C33 CP, Good news. I knew the GM20 should sound great. Can I try the Music First TVC again with your GM20 in the coming wine party? I met diyhifi's boss, Brian Cherry, this afternoon to discuss buying a chassis to house the TVC. The pair of TVC from dr king look really beautiful and iron soldering by doctor was excellent. Hence, I would like getting a more professional cage for the TVC. Similar to others' opinion, Brian who supply the S&B transformer in Asia region for years, also prefers to the copper TX-102. It seems that I don't need to order the silver cow cow from Canada any more. |

| [#3750] 6C33 CP, I have a strange feeling after several occasions experienced with passive preamp, they match well with some ,if not most, vintage amp. Let me quote some examples: KC's vintage amp as I read in Tannoy's thread, my old QUAD II, I guess Leak is good with passive as well with good comment from Hon. Of course there are exceptions. |
