Just a brief description of my system: VDH Colibri＞ Rockport Capella II turntable with 6000 arm＞ Herron phono and line stage＞ Accuphase electronics crossover ＞ Sonic Frontiers Power 2 (midrange/treble), and Power 3 (bass)＞ Modified Apogee Duetta Sig. With limage’s assistance, I am in the process of finding the room coupling point for the speakers and the idea listening position. |

I've prepared 2 bottles of very good red wine which I think everyone will like. will the Nagra's line preamp become a cheaper alternative to it's brother PLP to line stage users ________________________________________________________________________ The PLL is a different preamp altogether, different circuit, different tubes and no DC supply. Don't waste money on it. |

Just a pair of cheap Quicksilver Mini Mite monoblocks (interesting because it can use different type of tubes; i've tried KT88-98 and EL-34B and the Sovtek EL-34 it followed). A pair of VTL TT-25 (early version in red) is under restoration by a friend. |

I once thought about using the Quicksilver amp with my LS3/5s. Eventually I chanced my mind to vintage amp due to personal preference on dedicated 16 ohm tap out. |

Shabby tee shirt..........................mmmm...............could be better with naked upper torso cos the 6C33 is unforgivingly hot, producing a sunny sound. The attire here is always casual dumb in winter and more casual in summer. May be I should specify more clearly this time : naked upper, pants preferred, shorts allowed, G-string prohibited. |
