| [#3804] ESL63 rcwy, That's the reason I'm lazy to re-tune my Linn Sondek. I rarely played this to my guests 'cos most people listen to it and find no way back to CD and T/T. A lot of expensive tuntables will be thrown out of the window. |

| [#3807] OTL for ESL Dear CP, Not yet, the TVC is still under contruction, hopefully should be ready by end of next week for running in. My Graaf will be sitting still and unswitched in an air-con room in coming few days as we want to ensure no moisture left inside before power on. Let's us find together if any benefit when upgrading to bridged mono mode in future. The modena is truely remarkable and I wonder the bridged GM20 mono can maintian 90% of modena's performance. Just bring your GM20 with Patrick's mono kit to my workshop and then we can have the test side by side with feikeung's Modena. I noted a few component changes in the Modena against the GM20 and I'm thinking of "upgrading" the GM20 with the same components as the Modena. |

| [#3818] ESL63 Re-work on Allan's ESL63 turned out to be a big surprise. The new technique I applied was time consuming but both the sound quality and volunm output greatly improved. Meanwhile, I am in the proceed of conducting a complete re-work on my ESL63 using the same technique applied on Allens' speaker. Will update you folks on progress and will host listening session when ready. I am glad Allan likes the sound of his re-stored ESL63. Enjoy! |
