This pair comes with a pair of speaker cable which bundles with the power cord. Anyone knows whether this is original?

It looks like the cable is used with a power amp that also supplies power to the ESL. Is it Quad 303?

Dear Tim and CP,

Quite recently, I think I am taking the exit from vintage gears to modern components after rolling my QUAD tube amplification to things like Graaf, TVC and BBA etc.. Not until Tim's reminder below, I did not realize my restored QUAD ESL57 is classified under vintage because it always sounds so modern to me.

What speaker would you suggest to replace the ESL in my system for a full modernization?

Why do you mind whether they are vintage or modern? If you find a modern system which you are happy with and stick to it, 10 years down the line, they become vintage anyway.

Graaf has ceased making OTL amps altogether. So may be just 2 or 3 years down the line, the GM20 and the Modena will be classified as vintage.

If I remember right, the normal convention is the output side should be a plug,i.e. with pins, whilst the input side is a socket.
