| [#4625] QUAD ESL speaker doctorjohn, I just had a friend in Macau passed away at 39 recently. He died of Amyloidosis and unfortunately since it is hereditary his 8 year old son has just been found also contracted this disease. Seems there is no cure in Macau and the family is soliciting help in Hong Kong. Any advice? |

Arcici, It's more like some a rack with 4 selectable levels. I think Patrick and cp would prefer lifting the ESL to 13" or 14". |

| [#4629] Farewell, JC, See you soon Dkkyu: Amyloidosis? Oh, no...:-( There are several types, but the workup is standard procedure.Hereditary types are big trouble. No cure really. I do know a couple of pathologists in 鏡湖醫院, maybe they can ascertain something, but if the diagnosis is certain, there is little that can be done. Maybe I shall call you tomorrow. |

I hope 3.5 could recover well. Otherwise, I would take a lesson to stay out from any aged Magnepan and buy new units in future. |

I am seriously thinking to get rid of my CRT TV and find a pair of esl63. I just find my sitting room is a bit more than 9 feet width :-) Is it enough for the esl63?  |

| [#4644] QUAD ESL speaker Gingers, You must be deeply posioned by Patrick today. 9' wide. Of course OK for ESL63 la. The ESL63 is less demanding than ESL57 in this aspect. The problem would become where the hell you are going to get the ESL63 at reasonable price after your boosting. I guess your Leak or Audiomaster must be an excellent partner to drive ESL63. Remember to use 8 ohm output when driving ESL63. Good searching. |
