| [#1154] dkyyu Party The FISH was not as naughty as last time :-) ______________________________________________ No, it was naughtier this time and scared doctorjohn's pants off by giving false evidence on the allegation of manslaughtering the 25A against doctorjohn. Doctorjohn was eventually acquitted. Thanks to Gingers' great photos, luckily we didn't drop his camera. Doctorjohn has kindly conducted a crash test on the Leak 25A and proved that it is totally safe and robust on a 25mph head-on collision. Never seen greater hospitality. Big thanks to Dennis for everything; venue, equipment, sumptuous lunch, big snacks, beautiful analog music and a pretty lovely girl, a baby girl, don't get me wrong. But beware, limage did confessed of a tendency to model on Michael Jackson. He has his Neverland almost complete, well equipped with audio toys. The Haydn horn concerto and Mozart divertimento by ASMF brought along by limage provided the best reference materials for testing different amps with the Quad ESL, fully demonstrated ESL's most sweetest and transparent mid range. The English emperor, knowing the self-crowned american king came from an uncivilized land, sent out a 25W crusade to overwhelm the flea powered yugoslavian 300B. It certainly won the battle, no so sure about the war. The Cary did prove its magic spell on vocal presentation. There was another David and Goliath replay. A dirt cheap Klangfilm speaker cable against the outlawfully expensive Nordost. It opened in a fair game. Each has its own merit. But half way through the battle, the Nordost put up half of its value, changed to coins and stoned the Klangfilm to death. It was a great Monday afternoon. Lots of banters amongst good friends and great to see solemn J_L involved. |

| [#1161] dkyyu Party My gratitude to Ginger (for his EQ/Patience/Tolerance/Discipline). ------------------------------------------ Good morning all I have to amend the above words as quoted by Dr John. I have to make it very clear that Dr John did not do anything wrong. I should shoulder 100% (no less) responsibility in this accident. WHEN I heard big "BANG" sound and saw one of the boxes which contained one Leak TL/25A dropped from Dr John's hand. Both Dr John and I (In fact all the persons near us) were shocked. The cheap plastic box dropped into pieces. And I soon confirm that my toy, most IMPORTANT Dr John did not sustain any injury. Dr John was very kind to give me a hand to deliver my toy to Dennis' home. Though he dropped the box but the MAIN reason should be on my side. I chose a cheap plastic box to transport the Leak and I had to confess that I did it, knowing the box was not secured enough as its handle had been broken. All will agree I have to amend the captioned words, like this: My gratitude to Dr John (for his EQ/Patience/Tolerance/Discipline). I learned from my present job/ posting how to consider the RIGHT & WRONG with OTHER'S points of view :-) I also learned a lesson. From now on, I should buy our local "RED A" plastic box for my toys :-) JOhn |
