| [#127] QUAD ESL speaker service I think the ranking is a matter of personal choice. I guess for those who loves classical, string and vocal would vote for ESL57. For those who deserves more punchy bass would probably vote for the 63 or 989. I have no idea about the new Quad, but Mr master Kung, the experienced technician who works in HK dealer providing ESL servicing works told me that the ESL63 and ESL57 are far better than 989 and the new models. To me, I like the 57 very much, I need to listen to 63 again before any comment as my memory of 63 has ceased after 20 odd years. |
