| [#1744] Quad ESL speaker limage.............................I finished all the 6 quartets by Bartok last night and I must say they are the most beautiful modern string pieces. The music flows so naturally that I can almost tell what the next note will be. If you still find Bartok's string quartets hard to swallow, you really have to listen to the Emerson's playing.  |

| [#1745] Quad ESL speaker I also listened again to my favourite version of Brahm's violin concerto by Ginette Neveu. My son didn't like it because of the poor recording, it was played in 1949. However, by the 3rd movement, he just found her amazing.  |

| [#1750] Quad What's the sound of Quad ss amps driving Quad? You fellows must have tried the old Quads. I have an eminently portable newer Quad 77 integrated. I rather like its sound and despite its slim size it is pretty good in power too. I wonder whether it can drive the ESL57. |

Your mylar sheet is 10 times thicker! The dustcover can be either 5 or 6 micron, i.e. 0.005mm or 0.006mm. Please note. |
