| [#5130] Harbeth同好會 that's why I can't use this connection method :) have to compromise :) I heard a real 14" system(JBL) yesterday, the direct bass is awesome, but integrating a sub to our harbeth system is not that far behind in terms of performance, even compares to my modest system (and less sophisticated adjustment /application) I am more than happy:) |

| [#5134] Harbeth同好會 ptholeo, If you don't use high-pass filter, make sure to measure the nature roll-off frequency of C7 in your room. And set the subwoofer lowpass to this frequency. The aim is to minimize frequency overlap btw C7 and sub as much as you can. Otherwise, bass will be slow and have "long tail". |

| [#5136] Harbeth同好會 haha, our room must be similar shape. I have 50hz dip and 40 peak in my room too. ^^ I suggest to set subwoofer lowpass to 70hz, and remember to adjust phase to get max loudness at crossover point. |
