| [#55] CAS 新手被人老點記 joshua C-Hing, HTPC usually used for home theatre to watch movies, not good to replace CD source, because computer parts produce too much interference with each other, and using card slots (found this out when talking with an audio company technician) is very bad for the sound. Also, the fans (PSU, CPU, case) inside will produce noise once they get dusty. It is much better to use one-box CD player, or if you like separates, can use DAC + transport. Can use iPod or similar device instead of transport if you prefer CAS approach. |

| [#57] CAS 新手被人老點記 What you using is a interbox for recording. You should install the supplied software(maybe be like a mixer). Set the PC to using the m-audio as a output soundcard. Then set up the main output as output channel 1/2 or optical. I hope this can help you. Actually, this kind of machine is using for home studio recording. |

| [#58] CAS 新手被人老點記 thanks for all Big brothers advice, Last night I finally get this gear connected with appropriate drivers, as in the headphone output I can have the sound but cannot output in the 2 main channels through the balance input to my Onkyo SC-5507, despite I check evey button equipped. I can simply find M-audio 2626 output device in the foobar output selection, that means the firewire are connected but the problem is how the sound output to my amplifier. See any advice ? |
