What a difference a day makes................

I know it's such a cliché but it's quite a way it turns out for the AR3a.

The AR3a is probably more than 50 years old. If I guess it right the caps inside are original and it's the old.

Last night they would be connected to power in more than 10 years(that's when I got them) or could be more.

It was tight and restrained when performing, especially the bass.

However, I wouldn't say a big improvement and no miracle here but it has relaxed a lot more than I expect.

It becomes more AR sound(at least as compared to AR10丌) with much better controlled bass. I also think that the replacement tweeter is a good match.

This is supposedly an universal acclaimed Audiophile recording.

Now with some familiar music as a way to remember the sound from other speakers.

My old standard reference recording and it never sounds so good.

I particularly enjoy the piano tune at the end of the Making Movie.

The bass with Romeo and Juliet is as good as it can get.

I like his content
