| [#1082] Pass Labs 同好會 https://news.u-audio.com.tw/newsdetail.asp?newsid=5645 美國Pass新推出的XP-12前級擴大機，外觀雖然變化不太大，但是原廠表示這次新機種，從電源開始走全新設計，而重要的音量控制與增益級，則是高階XS系列技術下放，藉此強化XP系列的性能價格比。 新款XP-12的電源供應使用高效率環形變壓器，外加Mu鉬金屬隔磁層，變壓器內部空隙使用真空技術填補Epoxy環氧樹脂，這些繁複的工序目的很簡單，就是要獲得噪訊極低的環形變壓器。同樣的，電源穩壓線路也強調寧靜度，增加額外的濾波線路，讓供電噪訊進一步降低。 XP-12所使用的單階音量控制，直接借用高階XS前級的元件，每階1dB調變，總共100階音量控制。增益放大元件依然使用Pass偏好的Toshiba精選元件，但是Pass喜歡把輸出級工作偏壓調得稍微高一點，設計近似XS前級的自動偏壓。或者，我們可以這麼看，XP-12在音量與增益放大兩個部分，有許多借用高階XS前級的技術，但是價格卻變得更親切，更有市場競爭力。  |

| [#1084] Pass Labs 同好會 Response to [#1081] Hi MLfans, Why not consider the XP-20 instead? XP20 is a 10 year old design and I think XP12 may be better. I have used a X1 before. (X1 was the previous top-of-the-line 2 box design and predecessor to XP20). I thought that X1 should be better than XP10 but I was wrong. Pass Labs amps have long product life cycles of 8 to 10 years. When they release new models the new ones are significantly better than the old models. I am using X150.8 amp and previously X250.5. I found that the new .8 series sound significantly better. Without the chance to hear side by side comparisons I think XP12 may be better than XP20, and XP22 may be at least as good as if not better than XP30. I am interested to hear other chings' opinion and experience. Thanks. |
