| [#5] Simon Yorke turntable member s.yorke has the s7 arm with the vibraplane. i have s7 setup as well but the s7's arm is not the best arm even though Simon Yorke tells us it's a complete record player and not just a collection of parts. It was designed as an 'holistic whole' and not merely as a platform for d.i.y. experiments with alternative tonearms and so forth ;-) Simon is still working on his new linear-arm for the s10 but supposedly works too for s7. I'm interested to know how the tri-planar arm differs to the stock s7 arm? appreciate Master Kwong's feedback. 1derful, your system, right? yr s7 works better on the 2nd tier/shelf and not on the slate?? mine is on a 2inch granite then with the slate raised on top of it. |
