| [#1463] Classical Music newsgroup I'd like to bring to people's attention to a VERY useful newsgroup on classical music in Hong Kong. It is a high-content-value and low-noise group. I contribute as much as I can and I hope people will to. I have gotten much more from it than I can ever contribute towards it. I am very grateful for its existence. Due to the size of the board (I use the original Quad as sample) it may be a bit small to install onto the transformer of the OTA Quad. I suggest to use a plastic box to hold the new board like the original and then fill it with wax just like the original. |

| [#1481] Quad ESL EHT retrofit grogramme CP & Dennis......The following picture shows the original ESL57 EHT board being waxed in a plastic box. The idea of filled in with wax is to prevent sparking on the high voltage board when the air become conductive in humid weather. You can get this plastic boxes easily in the 10 dollar store, or Japan Town store of any of the stationary store. And it is very easy to install onto the transformer as you can see in the picture.
