| [#1592] Quad ESL speaker Even without running in and with only a "chicken" Linn Kan K5, it's already comparable to my not-too-chicken CD set up. ----------------------------------------- As the master of Linn LP12, it surely makes dkyyu no sleep for that night. No way a CD could beat LP12 that far. K5 is not the excuse. CP. I am sure dkyyu would call you shortly to massage your LP12 for improvement. |

| [#1596] Quad ESL speaker Initial check shows neither of the speaker is working properly. One gives a lot of noise during charge up and need to be shut down. The other one does not charge up fast enough though "normal sound" could be produced. However, there are lots of rattling noise at bass level. Treble panels seem to be working quite ok. Now discharging for diagnosis.  |

| [#1602] Quad ESL speaker Dennis, Thanks for your reply to CP. When I gave away to other guy, I reminded him that scenario to the new owner. It burnt tube power amplifier. But he told me that he had burnt his power amplifier too. I would like to remind you do not turn the volume to loud. I tried to get some photos of the aftermath. But I couldn't get it. |
